Basic Statistics On Our Female Silver Egyptian Mau Kitten

This is just a compilation of information on our kitten. It’ll be touched on in subsequent posts but I thought I’d put it all in one place for now.

The girl is a Silver Egyptian Mau bred by Arietta Cattery in southern New Jersey. Her mother was a Black Smoke and is descended from the Egyptian Mau brought over to the US in the 50s. She is currently 3 lbs and will probably grow to be only 6-8 lbs. She was born on Halloween, 2010 and will be four months old next week. She is an angel while cuddling and a terror otherwise. We adore her.

She is currently nameless but I think her formal name will end up being Wintermuse SteppinRazor. However, I frequently call her Squeaky, because she does it frequently.

We’re a couple in our late 20s. We have no kids and both work from home; I, Laura, as a freelance web strategist and analyst, and he, Louis, as a software engineer. We grew up with cats all our lives, but Lou is allergic so we never got a pet. We have been together for seven years, and this past holiday season, one of his gifts to me was permission to get a cat.
