Wintermuse is a lucky kitty and quite a character too. As a Mau breeder, I can tell you that it is always wonderful to see our kittens loved by folks like you. So very fun to watch your videos!

Thanks for the compliment, Allison! I love connecting with other Mau owners so drop me a line sometime. :) These cats are so special that I think only other owners understand their unique spirits.

I must admit that you’ve inspired me 11 months ago, to make my own little blog about my Mau.

Laura, I hope you continue this lovely site. I rescued a wonderful Mau, quite by accident (now I know it was kismet). We moved across town & our sweet cat got out at the new residence. While searching at animal services (kill shelter), we found my Mimi, a 9 yr old beautiful smoke Mau. She was found emaciated and in poor shape, but had a chip which had not been kept up-to-date. I was warned not to try to touch her-“she’s mean”. So wrong! She came out of the cage when I spoke to her. What an angel’s life we were able to save!

I love your cat. We have two siblings. One is called Ramesses and his sisters name is Tia. They were born on December 5, 2009. They are so beautiful, but the males eyes never really changed to the beautiful green that these cats are known for. His sister Tia eyes have changed, but they are still not bright green. When they were younger they loved those temptation treats, I realize now that those were not good for them, but it was too late he had a hematoma in his ear and we had to have his ear drained and now he has a crooked ear, so now I have them on greenies, but I was thinking of switching their treats to something even more healthy, because I think our cats are experiencing a little reaction with the greenies now, they seem to be a little scratchy and they stake their heads an hour or so after eating their greenie treats. I was thinking of switching their treats to the natural balance treats, right now I have them on the natural balance wet and dry food limited ingredients, and they seem to like it, I switched them to the natural balance because our veteran says that they needed to be on a hypoallergenic food, because they are having a reaction to what was in their food, so I have switched and so far so good, but it has only been a week, has anyone else had problems with greenies giving their cat allergic reaction. How do I put pictures of my babies on your wonderful website?
